Two night, three day walks. Option 1 – Apollo Bay to Cape Otway. Tall forests and coastal woodland. Fee applies for entry to Cape Otway Lightstation. Spend the first night at Elliot Ridge Great Ocean Walk campsite and the second at Blanket Bay Great Ocean Walk campsite. Option 2 – Blanket Bay to Johanna Beach.

The Great Ocean Road [1] is more than a road – it represents a coastal region of south-west Victoria, Australia, running from Bellarine Peninsula near Geelong to Portland near the border with South Australia. The Great Ocean Road was built as a work project for veterans returning from World War I and was completed in 1932.
3. Kennett River, GOR. With a population of only 50, Kennett River is a quiet and laid-back town between Lorne and Apollo Bay. Flanked by the Great Otway National Park this town is probably best known for the place to see koalas in the wild along the Grey River Road in the middle of town, just look for the crowds of people and follow their gazes up for quick koala spotting.
The Great Ocean Road spans 200 kilometers, from Port Campbell in the west to Torquay in the east. Some people do this as a very long day trip from Melbourne while others can take as long as a week, stopping at towns along the way, leisurely enjoying the beaches, wineries, and historic towns along the way. The next beach on the Great Ocean Road is the Anglesea Beach which is usually less crowded than the Torquay beach. Lorne beach. Lorne beach is across the best market street on the Great Ocean Road. It hosts a lot of events around the year including the annual Lorne festival of performing arts and the falls festival. Wye River beach
