But the point is I’ve replaced the clutch and flywheel and car won’t start. It cranks for a good 2 seconds then just stops. I’ve replaced battery, starter motor, crank sensor, and spark plugs and still no luck. The only code I get is the P06E9 on my ngauge. I am out of ideas and looking for some input.
Ford Year: 2006. UK/Ireland Location: Essex. Posted January 31, 2017. I am renewing the timing belt on my 06 1.4 tdci Fiesta, using a Haynes Manual in which they say, "remove the crankshaft pulley, noting the position of the woodruff key." Is it necessary to remove this pulley as I have already slipped the belt off and am ready to fit the new one?
P0016 is a correlation code. It means that the camshaft sensor signal doesn't agree with the crankshaft position signal. It doesn't mean that you need to replace the camshaft sensor. It means that sensor experienced a signal interruption. You need to check the connections and harness from the bank 1 CPS and the ground connection too.
Somebody LIED, Crank Position Sensor Location. I am trying to locate the Crankshaft Position Sensor on a 2005 Ford F-250 Super Duty with a 6.0 L Diesel engine. I cannot visually locate the sensor from above or below. Right after my dad got this truck in 2008, he got a letter from FORD about changing this same sensor UNDER WARRANTY RECALL NOTICE.. 220 58 276 350 486 312 105 257
